Welding has been a family owned and operated business since the early
1900's. In the beginning Adam Feinauer started the company, under the
name Adam Feinauer and Son's, as a black smith shop specializing in
shoeing horse and he always put pride and honor into his trade. From
the point of Adam starting the business, steel had become a part of
the Feinauer family.
Over time, Adam's
son Victor took over the business, expanding the horizons of Feinauer
Welding's specialties. Victor was an expert in structual steel as well
as ornamental work. He began fabricating and erecting such things as
fire escapes, wrought iron gates & railings, steel canopies, etc.
Victor, like his father, had a special talent for steel work. His last
project was a well known site in the downtown Cincinnati area, the
train display at the Union Terminal.
In 1985 Victor's
son John took over the family business. What was once known as Adam
Feinauer and Son's is now John C. Feinauer Welding, Inc. John shares
the same passion that both his Father and Grandfather once had for
the steel industry. Having been around the business as a small boy,
John inherited his knowledge and passion from both his Grandfather
and Father. Both very skilled teachers. Through the use of hard work
and new technology, John has been able to expand the resources and
capabilities of Feinauer Welding. Now in the 21st century, John C.
Feinauer Welding continues to become a serious competitor in both the
structural and ornamental steel business.
From the largest
to the smallest of projects, John assures that Feinauer Welding puts
every bit of that skilled craftsmanship and generations of knowledge
into every job. Guaranteed.
